Output current (Battery 1 charging current)
When the battery potential of battery 2 reaches 14.1 V, a par-
allel connection is established with battery 1. Compensating
current dependent on the charge state of battery 1 (starter
battery). If the voltage of the battery 2 drops below 13.0 V, the
parallel circuit is automatically disconnected.

Automatic
Automatic switching (Bulk phase)
OFF when battery voltage reached 14.4 V,
charging current < 16 A.
Automatic switching (Absorption phase)
Ten hours at a constant 14.4 V for gel or AGM batteries.
Four hours at a constant 14.4 V for liquid electrolyte batteries.
Automatic switching (Float phase)
Float phase, constant at 13.8 V
Temperature dependent control (optional)
The values of the automatic switching refer to a battery
temperature of 20 °C. When using a temperature sensor at
the battery 2, these values vary as a function of the battery
temperature.
High temperature –> Lowering of the threshold values.
Low temperature –> Higher threshold values.
Application
Parallel operation, buffer operation, general charging operation.
Temperature
Ambient temperature of -25 °C to +35 °C.
During operation, the housing may heat up to approx. 75 °C.
Cooling
By convection.
