DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS - PRIMARY HYDRAULIC POWER SYSTEM
Oil filter - Install (A.10.A.24 - F.10.A.15)

1. Install the hydraulic filter head onto the mounting
bracket. Install the mounting bolts and washers and
tighten the mounting bolts.

2. Reservoir - Apply vacuum (A.10.A.22 - F.35.A.50)
Start the vacuum pump.
3. Remove the plugs from the fittings and install the
hydraulic tubes onto the fi lter head fittings. Tighten
the fittin
gs.
4. If the fi lter element was removed, install a new oil
filter element on the filter head. Torque filter to 30 -
35 lb ft.
5. Stop the vacuum pump. Disconnect the vacuum
pump from the hydraulic reservoir and install the
reservoir cap o n the reservoir filler neck.
6. Clean up any hydraulic oil from the equipment and
the floor.
7. Install the electrical connection onto the mounting
stud. Install the washer and the mounting nut and
tighten the mounting nut.
8. Start the engine and run a t low idle.
9. Operate the loader controls to completely extend
and retract the lift and tilt cylinders to remove any
ai
r from the hydraulic system.
10. Lower the loader arms completely.
11. Stop the engine.
12. Check for any oil leakage.
13. Check the hydraulic oil level in the reservoir. Add
hydraulic oil as required. Reservoir - Filling
(A.10.A.22 - F.60.A.10)
14. Install the cap on the reservoir.
