Respectthemaintenanceintervalsbycheckingthehourmetereveryday.Beforestartingmaintenance,parkthe
machineonat,rmground,awayfromanyobstacles,withthearmretractedandthebucketontheground.Lower
thedozerblade(ifequipped)untilitrestsontheground.Unlessotherwisespecied,allmaintenanceoperations
mustbecarriedoutwiththeenginestopped,andthekeyremovedfromtheignitionkey.Itispreferabletowaitfor
allcircuitstocooldownbeforestartingwork.

Cleanthegreasettingsbeforelubrication.Cleanaroundplugsandllerholesbeforeaddinguid.Nodustor
dirtmustenterthecomponentsorthecircuits.Wearsuitableclothingandremembertousethenecessarysafety
equipment.

Whencarryingoutserviceworkonthemachine,placea"Donotoperate"tagontheinstrumentpanel.Neverclimb
downfromtheoperator'scompartmentleavingtheenginerunning.

Removethenecessarylowerpanelsduringmaintenanceofcertainmachinecomponents.
