fuelwithwhichairbubblesweremixed.Thisactionis
theback-upofelectromagnetfeedpump(4).Move
thishandleuntilairbubblesareloseinfuel.
7.Turn“Off”theignitionkey.

8.Next,tightentheairbleedingplug(2)whichhadbeen
loosenedinstep3andcontinuetomovethefeed
pump(1)handle.Whenthehandlebecomesdifcult
tomove,airbleedingiscompleted.Airbleeding:8-
12N·m(5.9-8.9lbft).
9.Pushinthehandleofthefeedpump(1)toreturnitto
itsoriginalposition.
10.Turn“On”theignitionkeytooperatetheelectromag-
neticfeedpumpdrainingthecontaminant(impurities)
inthefuelpipesformorethan30seconds.

12.Completelywipeoffanyspilledfuel,starttheengine
andcheckforanyfuelleakage.
ATTENTION:Tighteningitwithtorqueexceedingthe
speciedmaycausetherubbersectionofgasketto
bedamaged.
