ORACLE Settings
The ORACLE system comes equipped with a number of
adjustable settings to optimize the user experience as well
as settings that pertain to sample analyses and system
functionality.
Within the Settings folder, there are two sections that are
available to all users:
Sample
System
There are an additional three settings that are only available
to Administrators:
Backup
Tools
Event Viewer
Sample
The sample settings are in place to provide the user with
various options during the run as well as adjust certain
testing parameters to optimize the ORACLE analysis for
specific sample types. While certain settings are applied
system-wide, others are specific to certain samples as
indicated.
Sample Tags – Sample tags can be added to
individual tests as a way to further identify and
group certain samples being analyzed. This is
especially useful on the sample results screen,
where grouping samples by product type may be
desired.
Auto Optimize – Auto Optimize is a system wide
internal process where the ORACLE will
automatically determine if a sample contains low
levels of fat, and optimize the signal to those levels.
This will increase analysis time by approximately 1.5
minutes and has shown to increase repeatability and
accuracy for certain samples.
High Temperature Mode – Some samples will
require a higher temperature for optimal analysis.
