5. Trap user name is conﬁgurable has to match the name created in Trap receiver, User name accepts a maximum

of 15 ASCII characters.

6. Trap password is conﬁgurable has to match with the password created in Trap receiver, Password accepts a

maximum of 15 ASCII characters.

7. Trap authentication is the hash method used to login (take care that MD5 is the weakest of the list. SHA

recommended).

8. Trap priv encryption key is conﬁgurable has to match the name created in Trap receiver, encryption key accepts a

maximum of 15 ASCII characters.

9. Trap priv encryption: Only for SNMP V3+ auth+ encryption: method used to encrypt packet! Use AES if you have

the choice.

10. Trap version for T2S ETH is CET MIB Traps

1. First conﬁgure the target IP, Each time a trap is send, you have to specify to whom. So always in the same menu

SNMP, go to the bottom and enter the target IP.
