11.2 Authorising additional master media
All master media must be authorised prior to their first use. The only exceptions are the RF-Ini-
Master (in NET and VA devices) and the RF-Trace-Master.
If you are administering your OMEGA FLEX system exclusively with master media, you
must authorise each master media for each locking device for which you wish to use the
master media.
If you use OMEGA Client software, you can also conveniently authorise master media via
OMEGA Client. A detailed manual is available in the OMEGA Suite Help.
Required master media:
l System-Master
l Any master media that needs to be authorised
Procedure:
1. Hold the System-Master for ca 1 second in the reading field of the locking device to start
the “authorise mode” of the locking device.
