Maintenance Schedule
For use with Maintenance Alert System. Check at the intervals listed in the following chart.
Item Procedure Every Month
Every 3 Months
or 5,000 Cycles
Every 6 Months
or 10,000 Cycles
Drive Chain • Check for excessive slack.
• Check and adjust as required.
• Lubricate.

Sprockets Check set screw tightness.

Fasteners Check and tighten as required.

Manual Hoist (if
applicable)
Check and operate.

Shafts Check for wear and lubricate.

LiftMaster Monitored
Entrapment Protection
Check alignment and
functionality.


Use SAE 30 Oil (Never use grease or silicone spray)
• Do not lubricate motor. Motor bearings are rated for
continuous operation.
 Inspect and service whenever a malfunction is observed or
suspected.
