Lower limb:
Distal RSD of the lower limb:
• Four large electrodes are used to surround the ankle and foot.
• A small electrode is placed in the middle of the popliteal fossa; another small electrode is placed similarly
one finger’s breadth above.
RSD of the knee:
• Four large electrodes are used to cover the knee and surround the kneecap.
• A small electrode is placed at the level of the inguinal fossa just beside the femoral artery, and another
small electrode is placed similarly one finger’s breadth above it.

The most comfortable position for the patient.
To improve the irradiation of the tingling sensation caused by neural stimulation, it is recommended to
exert a slight pressure on the small electrodes placed on the nerve being targeted (bag of sand weighing 1
or 2 kg, cushion placed between the chest and arm, etc.)
