Information About Module Temperature

If the threshold is exceeded in an active supervisor module with HA-standby or standby present,
only that supervisor module is shut down and the standby supervisor module takes over.
If you do not have a standby supervisor module in your switch, you have 2 minutes to decrease

Tip
We recommend that y ou install dual supervisor modules. If y ou are using a Cisco Nexus 7000
Series switch without dual supervisor modules, we recommend that you immediately replace the
fan module if just one f an is not working.
Note A threshold value of –127 indicates that no thresholds are configured or applicable.
Displaying the Module Temperature
You can display temperature readings for module temperature sensors by using the
show enviro nment
temperature
command. See Ex am ple 7-6.
