Power Supply Configuration Modes
You can configure one of the follo wing power modes to either use the combined po wer provided by the
insta lle d pow er su pply u n it s o r to provi de pow e r redu n da ncy w h en t he re is a pow e r lo ss:
• Combined mode—Provides the maximum amount of available power by utilizing the combined
power output from all installed power supply units for switch operations. This mode does not
provide redundancy.
