VLAN IGMP Settings
The VLAN IGMP Settings area contains the following fields:
• VLAN ID — Specifies the VLAN ID.
• IGMP Status — Indicates if IGMP snooping is enabled on the VLAN. The
possible field values are:

Checked
— Enables IGMP Snooping on the VLAN.

Unchecked
— Disables IGMP Snooping on the VLAN.
• IGMP Querier Status — Indicates if IGMP Querier is enabled on the VLAN.
The IGMP Snooping Querier is used to support the L2 multicast domain of
snooping switches in the absence of a multicast router. The possible field
values are:

Checked
— Enables IGMP Querier on the VLAN.

Unchecked
— Disables IGMP Querier on the VLAN.
• Auto Learn — Indicates if Auto Learn is enabled on the VLAN. If Auto Learn
is enabled, the devices automatically learn where other Multicast groups
are located. The possible field values are:

Checked
— Enables auto learn.

Unchecked
— Disables auto learn.
• Host Timeout — Indicates the amount of time the device waits to receive a
message before timing out. The possible range is 60-2,147,483,647
seconds. The default time is 260 seconds.
• MRouter Timeout — Indicates the amount of the time the device waits to
receive a message from the Multicast router before it times out. The
possible range is 60-2,147,483,647 seconds. The default value is 300
seconds.
• Leave Timeout — Indicates the amount of time the device waits, after
requesting to leave the IGMP group and not receiving a Join message from
another station, before timing out. If a Leave Timeout occurs, the switch
notifies the Multicast device to stop sending traffic The Leave Timeout value
is either user-defined, or an
Immediate Leave
value. The possible range is
0-2,147,483,647 seconds. The default timeout is 10 seconds.
STEP 2 Select the VLAN ID.
