Configuring Local Area Network (LAN) Settings
The Setup > LAN Setup window displays the routers local network settings for
the four Ethernet ports.
To configure the LAN settings for the router, follow these steps:
STEP1 Click Setup > LAN Setup.
STEP 2 Configure the LAN settings:
IPv4—This section displays the settings for the routers local IPv4 address
and subnet mask. In most cases, you can use the default values.
- Local IP Address—Enter the IPv4 address on the LAN side. The default
value is 192.168.1.1.
- Subnet Mask—Select the subnet mask from the drop-down menu. The
default value is 255.255.255.0.
- IP Reserved for Internal Usage—Enter a value between 1 and 254 to
specify the IP address to use internally.
