Automatic illumination of
headlamps
Thesidelampsanddippedbeamheadlamps
areswitchedonautomatically,withoutany
action on the part of the driver, when a low level
ofexternallightisdetectedorincertaincases
ofactivationofthewindscreenwipers.
Assoonasthebrightnessreturnstoan
adequatelevelorafterthewindscreenwipers
areswitchedoff,theselampsareswitchedoff
automaticallyandthedaytimerunninglamps
comeon.
Activation
F TurnringA to the "AUTO"position.The
activationofthefunctionisconfirmedby
thedisplayofamessage.
Deactivation
F TurnringA to a position other than
"AUTO".Thedeactivationofthefunctionis
confirmedbythedisplayofamessage.
Operating fault
In the event of a fault with the
sunshinesensor,thelightingcome
on,thiswarninglampisdisplayed
ontheinstrumentpaneland/ora
messageappearsinthescreen,
accompaniedbyanaudiblesignal.
ContactaCITROËNoraqualified
workshopworkshop.
Infogorsnow,thesunshinesensor
maydetectsufficientlight.Therefore,
thelightingwillnotcomeon
automatically.
Do not cover the sunshine sensor,
coupled with the rain sensor and
located in the centre of the windscreen
behindtherearviewmirror;the
associatedfunctionswouldnolonger
becontrolled.
