Ifthiswarninglampcomesonin
theinstrumentpanel,theautomatic
modeisdeactivated.
Programming the mode
Dependingonthecountryofsaleofthevehicle,
theautomaticapplicationwhentheengineis
switchedoffandtheautomaticreleasewhen
youpresstheacceleratorcanbedeactivated.
Activation/deactivationisdone
usingthevehicleconfiguration
menu;refertothesectioncovering
theconfigurationofyourvehicle's
systems.
Theparkingbrakeisthenappliedandreleased
manually.Whenthedriver'sdoorisopened,
thereisanaudiblesignalandamessageis
displayediftheparkingbrakeisnotapplied.
Itisrecommendedthatyoudonot
applytheparkingbrakeinverycold
conditions(ice)andduringtowing
(breakdown,caravan...).Deactivatethe
automaticfunctionsandreleasethe
parkingbrakemanually.
Donotplaceanyobject(packetof
cigarettes,telephone...)betweenthe
gearleverandtheelectricparking
brakecontrollever.
