Fittingroofbars
Forsafetyreasonsandtoavoiddamagingtheroof,itisessentialtousethetransversebars
approvedforyourvehicle.
Whenfittingroofbars,useonlythefourfixing
pointslocatedintheroofframe.Thepointsare
maskedbythevehicledoorswhenclosed.
Theroofbarfixingsincludeastudtobefittedto
theholeateachfixingpoint.
Observethefittinginstructionsandthe
conditionsofuseintheguidesuppliedwiththe
bars.
Maximumloaddistributedovertheroof
bars,foraloadheightnotexceeding
40cm(exceptbicyclecarriers):
- for roof bars with pads
at 90 mm:50 kg,
- for roof bars with pads
at 150 mm:80 kg.
