Thebatteryislocatedunderthebonnet.
Foraccesstothe(+)terminal:
F releasethebonnetusingtheinteriorlever,
thentheexteriorsafetycatch,
F raise the bonnet and secure it with its stay,
F lift the plastic cover for access to
the(+)terminal.
Access to the battery
Procedureforstartingtheengineusinganother
batteryorchargingadischargedbattery.
The presence of this label, in particular
withtheStop&Startsystem,indicates
the use of a 12 V lead-acid battery with
specialtechnologyandspecification;
theinvolvementofaCITROËNdealeror
aqualifiedworkshopisessentialwhen
replacingordisconnectingthebattery.
Afterrefittingthebattery,theStop&Start
systemwillonlybeactiveafteracontinuous
periodofimmobilisationofthevehicle,
aperiodwhichdependsontheclimatic
conditionsandthestateofchargeofthe
battery(uptoabout8hours).
