Tyreunder-inationdetection
Systemwhichautomaticallychecksthe
pressuresofthetyreswhiledriving.
Thesystemcontinuouslymonitorsthe
pressures of the four tyres, as soon as the
vehicleismoving.
A pressure sensor is located in the valve of
eachtyre(exceptthesparewheel).
Thesystemtriggersanalertifadropin
pressureisdetectedinoneormoretyres.
Thetyreunder-inflationdetectionsystemisan
aidtodrivingwhichdoesnotreplacetheneed
forvigilanceonthepartofthedriver.
Thissystemdoesnotavoidtheneed
tocheckthetyrepressuresregularly
(includingthesparewheel)andbefore
alongjourney.
Drivingwithunder-inflatedtyres
adverselyaffectsroadholding,
extendsbrakingdistancesandcauses
prematuretyrewear,particularlyunder
arduousconditions(vehicleloaded,
highspeed,longjourney).
The tyre pressures for your vehicle can
befoundonthetyrepressurelabel.
Thetyrepressuresmustbechecked
whenthetyrescold(vehiclestopped
for1hourorafterdrivingforlessthen
6miles(10km)atmoderatespeed).

indicatedonthelabel.
