Engine oil level indicator*
Oil level correct
Thisisindicatedbytheflashingof"OIL" or the
displayofamessage,accompaniedbythe
servicewarninglampandanaudiblesignal.
Ifthelowoillevelisconfirmedbyacheckusing
thedipstick,thelevelmustbetoppedupto
avoiddamagetotheengine.
Formoreinformationoncheckingtheoillevel,
refertothecorrespondingsection.
Oil level indicator fault
In the event of a fault with the electric indicator,
theoillevelisnolongermonitored.
Ifthesystemisfaulty,youmustcheckthe
engineoillevelusingthemanualdipstick
locatedunderthebonnet.
Formoreinformationoncheckingtheoillevel,
refertothecorrespondingsection.
Oil level incorrect
Thisissignalledbytheflashingof"OIL--" or
thedisplayofamessage.

workshop.
On versions fitted with an electric oil level
indicator,thestateoftheengineoillevelis
displayedintheinstrumentpanelforafew
seconds,atthesametimeastheservicing
information.

The level read will only be correct if
thevehicleisonlevelgroundandthe
enginehasbeenoffformorethan
30minutes.
