Whenarearwardfacingchildseatisinstalled
on the front passenger seat,adjusttheseat
totheintermediatelongitudinalandhighest
position,withthebackreststraightened.
Thepassenger'sfrontairbagmustbe
deactivated.Otherwise,the child risks being
seriously injured or killed if the airbag were
to inflate.
Whenaforwardfacingchildseatisinstalled
on the front passenger seat,adjustthe
vehicle'sseattotheintermediatelongitudinal
andhighestpositionwithseatbackrest
straightenedandleavethepassenger'sfront
airbagactivated.

Ensure that the seat belt is correctly
tensioned.
Forchildseatswithasupportleg,
ensurethatthesupportlegisinstable
contactwiththefloor.Ifnecessary,
adjustthepassengerseat.
