Child seat at the rear
Rearward facing
Whenarearwardfacingchildseatisinstalled
on a rear passenger seat,movethevehicle's
frontseatforwardandstraightenthebackrest
sothattherearwardfacingchildseatdoesnot
touchthevehicle'sfrontseat.
Forward facing
Whenaforwardfacingchildseatisinstalled
on a rear passenger seat,movethevehicle's
frontseatforwardandstraightenthebackrest
sothatthelegsofthechildintheforward
facingchildseatdonottouchthevehicle'sfront
seat.
Centre rear seat
Achildseatwithasupportlegmustneverbe
installed on the centre rear passenger seat.
Ensure that the seat belt is correctly
tensioned.
Forchildseatswithasupportleg,
ensurethatthisisinfirmcontactwith
thefloor.Ifnecessary,adjustthefront
seatofthevehicle.
The incorrect installation of a child seat
