Inadditiontotherearparkingsensors,thefront
parkingsensorsaretriggeredwhenanobstacle
is detected in front and the speed of the vehicle is
stillbelow6mph(10km/h).
Thefrontparkingsensorsareinterruptedifthe
vehiclestopsformorethanthreesecondsin
forwardgear,ifnofurtherobstaclesaredetected
orwhenthespeedofthevehicleexceeds6mph
(10km/h).

Thefunctionisdeactivatedbypressingthis
button.Theindicatorlampinthebutton
comeson.
Pressingthisbuttonagainreactivatesthe
function.Theindicatorlampinthebutton
goesoff.
Operating fault
Intheeventofamalfunctionof
thesystem,whenreversegear
isengagedthiswarninglampis
displayedintheinstrumentpanel
and/oramessageappearsinthe
screen,accompaniedbyanaudible
signal(shortbeep).
Contact a CITROËN dealer or a
qualifiedworkshop.
Thesoundemittedbythespeaker(frontor
rear)indicateswhethertheobstacleisinfront
orbehind.
The function will be deactivated
automaticallyifatrailerisbeingtowed
orabicyclecarrierisfitted(vehicle
fitted with a towbar or bicycle carrier
recommendedbyCITROËN).
In bad weather or in winter, ensure
that the sensors are not covered with
mud,iceorsnow.Whenreversegearis
engaged,anaudiblesignal(longbeep)
indicatesthatthesensorsmaybedirty.
Certainsoundsources(motorcycle,
lorry,pneumaticdrill,etc.)maytrigger
theaudiblesignalsoftheparking
sensorsystem.
