and ensure that it is directly below the
front A or rear Bjackingpointprovidedon
the underbody, whichever is closest to the
wheeltobechanged.
Ensurethatthejackisstable.Ifthegroundisslipperyorloose,thejackmayslipordrop-
Riskofinjury!
TakecaretopositionthejackonlyatoneofthejackingpointsA or B under the vehicle,
ensuringthattheheadofthejackiscentredunderthecontactareaofthevehicle.
Otherwise,thereisariskofdamagetothevehicleand/orthejackdropping-Riskofinjury!
F Removetheboltsandstoretheminaclean
place.
F Removethewheel.
F Extendthejack2untilitsheadcomesinto
contactwiththejackingpointA or Bused;
the contact area A or Bonthevehiclemust
beengagedwiththecentralpartofthe
headofthejack.
F Raise the vehicle until there is sufficient
spacebetweenthewheelandtheground
toadmitthespare(notpunctured)wheel
easily.
