To set up permissions for guest user
You can manage user access (guest) to certain functions of the SAILOR XTR GX-R2
system. You can select R/W, R/O or no access to a number of functions. This is useful if
you want to protect the system against unintended changes or tampering of the
system. The guest account is disabled before the administrator gives it a password.
To set up the user permissions, do as follows:
1. From the left navigation pane, select Settings > User administration.
2. Click the pen icon for guest
3. For each item under Allow user to: select
• R/W to allow access
• R/O to block access to the settings. Then the pages are read-only.
• No Access, then the page is not available.
4. Click the icon for saving.
Important
Study this screen thoroughly and decide which areas of the
SAILOR XTR GX-R2 functions you want to give guest users access
to.
