Media Bays
The Compaq ProLiant 3000 server can house up to 12 mass storage devices.
Hot-Plug Drives
Seven 1-inch drives or six 1.6-inch drives (Standard)
Eight 1-inch drives or six 1.6-inch drives with optional Duplex
Drive cage
Ten 1-inch Ultra2 drives with optional Ultra2 simplex drive cage
NOTE
: An Ultra2-compatible array controller must be used with the Ultra2
simplex drive cage option. Connecting the Ultra2 simplex drive cage to the
integrated SCSI ports is not supported.
Preinstalled IDE CD-ROM drive
Two additional half-height drive bays (removable media area)
Preinstalled 3 ½”, 1.44-MB diskette drive
Keyboard
The keyboard connector is hot-pluggable. Any standard keyboard can be
plugged in without powering down the system or causing keyboard errors.
Video
Integrated PCI Video Controller provides maximum resolution of
1024 x 768, 256 color, non-interlaced
16 to 16.7 million colors, depending on graphics mode. 1-MB video
SGRAM standard
Supports SVGA, VGA, and EGA graphics resolution
