Connecting the Air Hoses to a Single
Hopper (D1300 - 5000)
Depending on how your dryer was configured, using the two flexible hoses or the hard
piping kit provided, connect the inlet of the Heater Pack and outlet of the drying hopper
to the dryer. Make sure the dryer is located as close as possible to the hopper (10 ft {3.05
m} of hose supplied).
1 Attach one hose (or pipe) from the re-
turn air inlet, located on top of the
dryer, to the outlet of the hopper.
2 Attach one hose (or pipe) from the de-
livery air outlet, located on top of the
dryer, to the inlet of the Heater Pack.
3 Secure hoses with clamps. The hose clamp should be se-
cured at least 1/4 in. {0.64 cm} from the end of the inlet or outlet tube.
NOTE: Do not allow the
flexible hoses to kink or
crimp.
