These two parcel instructions transmit da.ta between memory and an ft.
register or an S register. The content of Ah is added to the signed
integer in the
jkm field to determine the memory address. If h is 0,
(Ah) is 0 and only the jkm field is used for the address. The address
arithmetic is performed by an address adder similar to but separate
from the address add unit.
The 10h and I1h instructions transmit 24-bit quantities to or from
A registers. When transmitting data from memory to an ft. register, the
upper
40 bits of the memory word are ignored. On a store from Ai into
mewory, the upper 40 bits of the memory word are zeroed.
~he 12h and 13h instructions transmit 64-bit quantities to or from
register Si.
