instructions
or groups of
related
instructions.
Descriptions are presented in the
octal
code
sequence defined
by
the
gh
fields.
Each
subsection begins
with
boxed
information consisting of the format
and
a
brief
summa~
of
each
instruction
described in the subsection.
The
appearance of
an
m
in a
for~at
designates
that
the
instruction
consists of
two
parcels.
An
x in the format
signifies
that
the
field
containing the x
is
ignored
during
instruction
execution.
Following the header information
is
a
more
detailed description of the
instruction
or
instructions,
including a
list
of
hold
issue
conditions, execution
time,
and
special cases.
Hold
issue conditions
refer
to those conditions
that
delay issue
of
an
instruction
until the
conditions are met.
Instruction issue time
assumes
that
if
an
instruction
issues
at
clock
period n, the next
instruction
will issue
at
clock period n + issue
time
if
its
issue conditions
have
been
met.
