1.1.1 DO NOT WORK
Driving on slopes is one of the main causes of loss of control and machine flip-over that may lead to severe
injuries or death. Mowing on slopes requires extra caution. If you are not confident that you may safely perform
mowing on a slope, do not do it.
Self-propelled mowing machine AC 92-18(20) may be used on slopes with maximum inclination of
18°(32%). Machine AC 92-23 4x4 is capable of driving over small terrain hills (that is up or down the hill not
around the hill) with maximum inclination of 20°. Do not exceed these values. You may damage the
transmission.Pay extra caution during turning.Do not turn around on the slope unless absolutely necessary.
Pay attention to holes, roots and rough terrain. Uneven terrain may cause your machine to flip over. Tall grass
may hide dangerous obstacles. Therefore, make sure to remove all dangerous obstacles before work. See the
previous chapter 1.1.
Choose such speed that you will not have to stop in the slope.
Be very careful when connecting other extension devices and adapters.Extensions and adapters may lower the
machine stability.
Make sure to perform all motions and turns slowly. Do not make quick changes in direction or speed.
Try not to start or stop your machine in the middle of the slope. If the wheels lose the contact or grip with the
ground, switch off the mowing mechanism and slowly drive down the slope.
Start driving on the slope very carefully to prevent damages to your machine. Always lower the speed before
driving on a slope and when driving down the slope.
Lower the speed to a minimum when driving down the slope and use the breaking effect of the transmission.
Braking effect is best with machine AC 92 4x4.
1.1.2 DO NOT DO THE FOLLOWING !!
Do not cut the grass close to holes or riverbanks. If the wheel gets too close to the edge, the mowing machine
may flip over and fall inside the hole or river.
Do not cut wet grass. Lower wheel grip may cause your machine to get into a skid.
Do not try to maintain the machine balance by stepping on the ground and supporting the machine with your foot.
