b) Turning it off
• Move the mowing mechanism switch 6.1.1. to the OFF position.
• If the driver leaves the seat, the engine will stop automatically and the cutting knifes stop revolving as well.
• If you move the mowing mechanism lifting lever 6.1.8 to the transport position, the cutting knifes stop
spinning automatically.
Caution !!!
Never lift the protective cover on the left side of the box when the engine is running.Lift the cover only if
you want to clean the area underneath the cover or if you want to change the cutting knifes or perform
maintenance.
6.2.4 SETTING THE HEIGHT OF THE MOWING MECHANISM
If you want to cut tall and wet grass set the cutting height between 7.5 - 9 cm. Move the lifting lever 6.1.8 to
position 90 or 75.
When cutting flat, even and well-maintained area you may set the cutting height between 6 or 5 cm. Move the
lifting lever 6.1.8 to position 60 or 50.
6.3 DRIVING
•
Before driving make sure that the parking break is off by stepping on the break pedal 6.1.10. The parking
lever break 6.1.11 must not be in the "B"position!
• To start driving, slowly move the travel control lever 6.1.5 towards the required driving direction. Forward
driving position "F" and reverse driving position "R".
• If you want to change the driving direction, let the travel control lever in the "N" position for a short while to
prevent damage to the transmission.
• To slow down, move the travel control lever 6.1.5 slowly in the opposite direction. To speed up, move the travel
control lever 6.1.5 further in the same direction.
• If you want to stop, press on the break pedal 6.1.10. When you press on the break pedal, the travel control
lever automatically moves to the "N"position. The breaking track is shorter than 1.5m.
Caution !!!
You may stop the machine only if you slowly move the travel control lever to the "N" position and by
stepping on the break pedal.
Never use the travel control lever 6.1.5 and the break pedal 6.1.10 at the same time. You may damage the
transmission.
6.4 DRIVING SPEED
Always try to select the suitable speed to ensure high quality of the cut. If the speed is too high, or the load is too
big, the knife revolutions are reduced and the cut quality is also reduced. If you want to achieve maximum cut
quality, use maximum engine revolutions.
6.5 DRIVING ON SLOPE
Your mowing machine may work on slopes with inclination of 18°(32%). Machine AC 92-23 4x4 is capable of
driving over small terrain hills (that is up or down the hill not around the hill) with maximum inclination of 20°.
Adjust the driving speed with the travel control lever. Drive slowly on slopes and down the hill. Pay extra attention
when turning on slopes or hills. If you must stop on a slope, always use the parking break. If you overload your
machine on slope with inclination over 18° you may damage the transmission. The manufacturer is not reliable for
such damages.
