1.1.3 CHILDREN SAFETY
If the operating person is not alert or unaware of children presence, fatal accident may occur. Children are
attracted by mowing and other machines. Never rely on the fact that children will stay on the place where you saw
them last.
Never leave children unattended during mowing.
Be alert and ready to stop your machine in case of an emergency.
Before and during backing, observe the space behind you, as well as the area around you.
Never transport children on your machine. They may easily fall or may negatively interfere with your driving and
machine control. Never allow children to operate the machine.
Pay extra attention when working in areas with poor visibility or close to trees, bushes, walls etc.
1.1.4 FIRE SAFETY
During work you must observe all work and fire safety rules relevant to this type of machine.
Regularly remove dry grass, leafs or other flammable materials from the area around exhaust, engine, battery
and from all other areas where flammables may come in contact with gasoline or oil and cause fire.
Let the engine cool down before placing it in a closed space for storage.
Use extra caution when working with gasoline, oil and other flammables. These flammable materials are easily
ignited and may explode. Do not smoke during work.
Never try to refill the gasoline tank and never remove the gas tank lid if the engine is running, warm or the
machine is in a closed room.
Before work, inspect the gasoline level. Do not overfill. Hot engine along with hot sun and gasoline expansive
property may push the gasoline our of the tank and cause fire.
Use only approved containers for flammables storage. Never store the machine or gasoline container close to
heat producing devices.
Use extra caution when handling the battery. Battery vapours are highly flammable. Do not smoke or use open
fire when handling the battery. Danger of serious injuries.
