9. END-OF-SEASON MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
After the end of the season or if you are not using you machine for more than 30 days, make sure to prepare your
machine for storage. If the fuel stays in the fuel tank for more than 30 days, it may create a gluey deposits at the
bottom of the tank and cause carburettor breakdown or engine malfunctioning. Empty the fuel tank before storage
Caution !!!
Make sure not to store your machine in buildings or rooms where:
- gasoline vapours are present
- open fire is used
- sparks or lighting flames are used
- heat producing devices are used
- dry and easily flammable materials are stored.Handle grease and oil with care. They are highly
flammable and may cause severe burns or damages to your property if handled incorrectly.
Empty the gasoline tank only into an approved container and do so outside. Make sure no open fire is
used around you.
Recommended procedure to get your machine ready for storage:
Clean your machine thoroughly.
Remove and change damaged or worn out parts and tighten all loose nuts and bolts.
Get the engine ready for storage according to the instructions contained in the engine user's manual.
Lubricate all lubrication points according to the lubrication plan.
Loosen the V-belt of the mowing mechanism (7.9)
Clean the battery, refill it with distilled water all the way to the top and fully recharge it. Discharged battery may
freeze up and crack. If needed, store the battery in cold and dry space. Recharge the battery every 30 days
and inspect its charge regularly.
Cover the mowing machine with cloth and store it in dry and clean room.
The best way to ensure flawless operation and machine readiness for the upcoming season, is to have ti
inspected by authorized service centre.
