3.3.11.2 IGMP Proxy
IGMP allows support for efficient multicasting -- transmission of identical content,
such as multimedia, from a source to a number of recipients. IGMP proxy
enables the system to issue IGMP host messages on behalf of hosts that the
system discovered through standard IGMP interfaces. The system acts as a
proxy for its hosts when you enable it.
Choose Advanced > Network Tools > IGMP Proxy. The IGMP Proxy
Configuration page shown in the following figure appears.

Field Description
Multicast
allowed
Enable multicast proxy, only for route mode.
Robust Count
Allows tuning for the expected packet loss on a link. It
determines how many times a startup query should be
xmitted.
Last Member
Query Count
This parameter specifies the times the device sends
the query message.
