1. Any damage to wiring and
the cable or loose clamps
2. Firm contact between the
cable sockets and the battery
terminals.

ATTACHING OR DETACHING THE
BATTERY
1. When disconnecting the battery
cables, disconnect the negative (-)
groundcablerst.Otherwiseyou
may short the circuit.
2. When connecting the battery
cables, connect the positive (+)
cable first. Then, connect the
negative (-) cable.
Damaged wiring or the positive
(+) battery cable can short the
circuit.

bles to the wrong terminals. Do-
ing so will damage the electric

the cables were originally con-
nected. Never allow the positive
(+) cable to touch any sharp cor-
ners of other parts.
