When the blades are worn
out, reaping swaths do not
look clean, feeding to the
threshing unit becomes poor,
and the combine becomes
less efficient. Therefore,
when the blades are worn
out, replace the entire blades.
CAUTION
(1) Shim 2
(2) Clearance 0 ~ 0.5 mm

BLADE
1. Remove the shim between the
blade supporter and the blade.
2. Remove dirt and other foreign
objects.
3. Adjust the distance between the
blade and its supporter within 0 ~
0.5 mm. Yet, the blade should be
movable by hand. (Increasing or
decreasing the shim can adjust
the gap.)
ASSEMBLING THE REAPING
BLADE UNIT
1. Make the blade faced upward
and insert the blade unit to the
right holding pin, then to the
middle and left pins. Move the
blade unit to the right.
2. After holding the front of the
blade supporter, adjust locations
of the right and left blade heads
and roller. Then, move the unit
to the holes for the fastening
bolts.

CRANK
1. Stop the traveling of the blades
when they move into their inner
most positions.
2. Loosen the two crank rod’s nuts
(There are two nuts on each
crank rod.)
3. Rotate the crank rods so that
the distance between the tip of
the blade and that of its sup-
porter gets less 1.5 mm.
