Gener
al
This supplement is intended to inform the pilot about the equipment limitations,
description and operations necessary for operation when the airplane is equipped
with the Baro-VNAV approaches capability.
SECTION 2
Limitations
The limitations hereafter supplement or replace those of the standard airplane
described in section 2 Limitations of the basic POH when the airplane is equipped with
the Baro-VNAV approaches capability.
2.1 - General
The GARMIN Integrated Flight Deck Pilot's Guides as applicable must be readily
avail
able to the pilot and permanently kept in the airplane with the POH :
- G1000 (900) P/N 190-00709-07 Rev. C or any later revision,
- G1000 NXi retrofitted (900) P/N 190-02348-00 Rev. B or any later revision,
- G1000 NXi (910) P/N 190-02218-00 Rev. B or any later revision,
2.6 - Operation limits
GNSS (GPS/SBAS) navigation equipment approvals
The GARMIN GNSS navigation system installed in this airplane :
- is a GPS system with a Satellite Based Augmentation System (SBAS)
comprised of :
- two TSO--C145a (or later) Class 3 approved GARMIN GIAs,
- TSO--C146a (or later) Class 3 approved GARMIN GDUs Display Units,
- GARMIN GA36 and GA37 antennas,
- GPS software version 3.2 or later approved version.
- is installed in this airplane in accordance with AC 20-138A.
- is, as installed in this airplane, approved for navigation using GPS and
GPS/SBAS (within the coverage of a SBAS complying with ICAO Annex 10) for
IFR enroute, terminal area, and RNP APCH operations (to LNAV, LNAV/VNAV
and LPV minima).
