2.6.3 Cooling Pump
For the cooling water circulation, a Wilo Star-Z NOVA or GRUNDFOS Comfort PM is being
used. These are well-tested, efficient, and high hygiene safety pumps. For more information on
the pumps, we refer to the product manuals, which can be found on wilo.com.
2.6.4 Compressor
The three-stage oil free compressor is designed by Kim Dalum. It is manufactured in stainless
steel to improve its lifespan and keep the product clean and the fact that it is oil free eliminates
the risk of contaminating the CO2. Every component is food grade quality and qualified.
Furthermore, this compressor is very low noise compared to other compressors on the market,
which gets the Unit down to a noise level of maximum 65dB. The compressor compresses the
gas to a pressure of 35-45Bar which in accordance with the temperature of 0-5
o
C makes sure
that the CO2 is in liquid state.
