4. Operating the DALUM CO2 Recovery Unit
Before starting the Unit make sure that all connections listed in 3.3 are correctly connected, and
that manual valves for refrigerant and fresh water are opened.
Note: ½-1 day after yeast is added to the fermenting tank there will be enough CO
2
generation
to start the CO
2
recovery. In the beginning oxygen levels can be rather high, so make sure to
check that this level is below 1% with a handheld oxygen measuring device. Parallel capturing
from multiple tanks is possible.
