If you have the option with a foam detector
Connect the foam trap inlet with the exit of the raw gas collection line using a 27 mm
inner diameter hose. The hose must be food grade hose.
fix hose ties at both ends of the hose.
Connect the exit of the foam detector to the inlet of the low-pressure scrubber using a 27
mm inner food grade hose.
fix hose ties at both ends of the hose.
Open the isolation valve at the exit of the collected gas line.
Make sure the pressure is regulated to 0.25 bar.
If you have the option with 2 foam traps connected on series
Connect the fermentation tank exit point to the inlet of the first foam trap using a food
grade hose.
fix hose ties at both ends of the hose.
Connect the exit of the first foam trap to the inlet of the second foam trap using a food
grade hose.
fix hose ties at both ends of the hose.
Connect the exit of the second foam trap to the inlet of the low-pressure scrubber using
a 27 mm inner food grade hose.
Open the isolation valve at the exit of the collected gas line.
Make sure the pressure is regulated to 0.25 bar.
Inspect all the connections for any leak.
In case of leakage, make sure to check the connection.
3.3.2 Water line connection
Connect the ½ inch water supply to the water filter inlet
Use a ½ inch food grade hose.
fix hose ties at both ends of the hose.
Turn on the water supply isolation valve.
The water supply must be at least 1 bar at max 10°C.
Inspect all the connections for any leak.
In case of leakage, make sure to check the connection.
3.3.3 Drainage connection
The Unit has 2 drain exits, connected to 4 solenoids valved (3 x water separator and 1 x
scrubber), these valves will open when the level of the liquid is detected.
The pressure is different between the drain points, it can range from 1 bar to 46 bars.
Make sure the drainpipes are not blocked and well supported.
The drain point should nearby the plant and enough for max 25 l/h of water at floor level.
