5. Inspection and Maintenance
Carry out inspection and maintenance on the DALUM CO2 Recovery Unit with regular intervals.
• Maintenance and repair work must be performed by trained and qualified people.
• Make sure that the system is depressurized before maintenance work.
• CO2 supply must be interrupted.
• Disconnect the machine from the power supply to prevent unexpected start of engine.
• Only use spare parts approved by Dalum Beverage Equipment.
• Never operate the Unit with damaged or leaking lines.
5.1 Inspections and checks
Trained personnel should perform a Routine check, see section 6, at least weekly.
Keep the DALUM CO2 Recovery Unit clean and dry for optimal performance conditions.
Inspect the Unit both visually and auditorial – see if there are any visible leaks, e.g., drain valves
or if there are any dissonant noises e.g., gearmotor or compressor noises.
Electrical parts such as solenoid valves, sensors, gearmotor, cooling pump can be checked by
an authorized person.
