  If your Datamax Printer is not printing or the print quality is poor, ensure that the HEAT and/or PRINT SPEED settings are correct. Also, check if direct thermal is selected while thermal transfer media is installed. If you're using thermal transfer media, verify that the media and ribbon combination is correct. Make sure the Media Width Adjustment is correctly set and that the Printhead is clean. A worn Platen can also cause this issue. Finally, inspect the Printhead for defects or loose cabling.
