Function
Sets the scaling between encoder pulses and millimeters. The encoder gives an exact
number of count pulses over a mm displacement. This value must be programmed here.
The value can be calculated by the formula:
F = (NP / SPP) * 4
in which:
- NP = Number of encoder pulses per revolution of the spindle
- SPP = Spindle pitch in mm
The result of the division NP/SPP is multiplied by 4, because the control counts every
quadrant of one encoder cycle.
Example:
- number of encoder pulses: 50 pulse/rev.
- spindle pitch: 2 mm/rev.
results in F= (50 / 2) * 4 = 100 counts/mm
