4 Press the release latch and slide the optical drive outward to release it from the drive bay [1, 2].
5 Remove the screws from the optical drive and remove the bracket.
Installing the 5.25-inch Optical Drive
NOTE
: If the sytem is not shipped with optical drive, remove the 5.25-inch optical drive cover from the front cover to install the
Optical drive.

Place the optical drive on the bracket and tighten the screws to secure the optical drive.
2 Slide the optical drive into the drive bay.
3 Connect the power and data cables to the optical drive.
4 Install:
a right cover
5 Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your Computer.
