Removing the Hall sensor daughter board
Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the SIM tray.
3. Remove the display assembly.
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the Hall sensor daughter board and provide a visual representation of the removal
procedure.
Steps
1. Disconnect the Hall sensor daughter board FPC from the connector on the system board.
2. Gently peel back the Hall sensor daughter board FPC from the battery .
3. Remove the single (M2x2) screw that secures the Hall sensor daughter board to the frame.
4. Lift the Hall sensor daughter board out of the computer.
