On a physical appliance, the System > Settings page provides a way to upload new firmware, and to boot either
the current firmware, newly uploaded firmware, or backup firmware.

Configure the FTP server on the System > Administration page to automatically send new settings to the
external FTP server. Refer to the Configuring External FTP/TFTP Server Settings on page 110.
On an SMA 500v Virtual Appliance, the System > Settings page allows for settings management, but does not
provide any firmware management, because the SMA 500v Virtual Appliance is itself a software image.
