6 Peel off the Mylar (6) from the display panel.
NOTE: The six Mylars are factory installed with the replacement display
panel. Peeling off the Mylar can result in one of the two following
acceptable scenarios:
– A portion of Mylar remains in the middle frame.
– The whole Mylar is peeled off from the display assembly.
Post-requisites
1 Replace the middle frame.
2 Replace the display built-in self test button board.
3 Replace the system board.
4 Replace the camera.
5 Replace the media-card reader.
6 Replace the power-button board.
7 Replace the speakers.
