Prerequisites
1 Remove the USB dongle-bay cover.
2 Remove the back cover.
3 Remove the stand.
4 Remove the system-board shield.
Procedure
1 Locate the CMOS reset jumper on the system board.
NOTE: For more information on the location of the CMOS reset
jumper, see “System board components”.
2 Remove the jumper plug from the password jumper-pins and connect it to the
CMOS jumper-pins.
3 Wait for 5 seconds and replace the jumper plug to its original location.
