09 Communication Parameters
W
hen using communication devices, connect AC
drive with PC by using Delta IFD6530 or IFD6500.
You can set this parameter during operation.

Communication Address

If RS-485 serial communication controls the AC motor drive, you must set the communication
address for this drive in this parameter. Each AC motor drives communication address must be
different.

COM1 Transmission Speed

Settings 4.838.4 Kbps
Sets the transmission speed of the computer and the drive.
Options are 4.8 Kbps, 9.6 Kbps, 19.2 Kbps, or 38.4 Kbps; otherwise, the transmission speed is
set to the default 9.6 Kbps.

COM1 Transmission Fault Treatment

1: Fault
and ramp to stop
2: Fault and coast to stop
3: No warning, no fault, and continue operation
Sets the response for Modbus communication errors in with the host. Set the detection time in
Pr.09-03.
When a transmission error occurs (for example, the error code CE10 is displayed), the error
remains even if the transmission status returns to normal, and does not clear automatically. In this
case, set a reset command (Reset) to clear the error.
