Replace Oil Filter

Lubrication System

• With attached locking piston:
Undo
tensioning
screws
and
remove
tensioning clamps downwards.
• Undo the lube oil filter cartridge using a
commercial tool and spin off.
• Catch any escaping oil.
• Clean any dirt from the filter carrier sealing
surface.
• Lightly oil the rubber gasket
of
the new lube
oil filter cartridge.
• Manually screw
in
the new cartridge until
the gasket is flush.
• Tighten the lube oil filter· cartridge with
another half-turn.

If
locking piston is available:
Position tensioning clamps and tighten with
tensioning screws.
• Check oil level, see 6.1.2.
• Check oil pressure, see 3.3.1.
• Check lube oil filtercartridge seal for leaks.
Caution
is
required
in
the case
of
hot
oil:
Risk of·scalding!
