Replace Fuel Filter
6.2 Fuel System
• Close the fuel shut-off valve.
• Undo fuel filter cartridge with commercial
tool and spin off.
• Catch any escaping fuel.
• Clean any dirt from the filter carrier sealing
surface.
• Apply light film
of
oil or diesel fuel to the
rubbergasket
ofthe
newfuel filtercartridge.
• Manually screw
in
the new cartridge until
the gasket is flush.
• Tighten the fuel filter cartridge with a final
half-turn.
• Open fuel shutoff valve.
• Check for leaks.
Thefuel system does notneed to
be
bled.
Keep naked flames away when working on the
fuel system.
Do
not smoke!
